So much of what's on the Web is so frivolous (much of my own contribution to Web culture is included in this) that a casual observer might be led to believe that the Web had no functions except entertainment and commerce. While I am the last one to decry these endeavours, the Web is crying out for some substantive content. Herein, I am doing my small part to add to the presently diminutive total of same. Below are a small collection of papers I have written on various subjects - whatever "absurd directions" (to quote a friend of mine) I get pulled in while attempting to secure my degree (I have a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and am now a law student) will be presented here. Be advised that I have been archiving these papers here since 1995 - in other words, some of the older ones may need updating. In any case, feel free to email me your thoughts if you are so inspired. I welcome commentary and debate on any subject addressed here (or elsewhere on my site).
